The definition of science is very well known pervasively. However, the term pseudoscience can be new to many. It basically means claims, beliefs or practices that are presented as scientific, but lacks support and evidences. The main difference between science and pseudoscience is that one is testable whereas the other is not. Topics in pseudoscience are impossible to either verify or falsify and the statements are also mostly meaningless. Therefore, it can be said that pseudoscience is full of vagueness. Also there is ad hoc exceptions which means that a statement can be protected by using exceptions. An example would be that "All disorders can be cured using acupuncture", but when a patient's disorder continues after the treatment, a statement of "All disorders can be cured using acupuncture except for that specific disorder.". Ad hoc exception can be used only in pseudoscience but not in science.
